DAW - Fl Studio 2024
I've always used FL Studio. It has everything I need. To me, it's simple but gets the job done
I always come running towards these libraries whenever I need synths, drums and pianos! I just simply love the sounds and I feel like nothing can top them.
I have never stuck with one strings library until recently. I would first use EastWest's Symphonic Orchestra before I moved on to Vienna Symphonic Library, then over to Tokyo Scoring Strings, then Symphobia before I finally found Cinematic Studio Strings which has now become my favorite strings library. I do use Symphobia every now and then, but CSS will be my first choice when it comes to strings. I love the sounds and I actually love the Marcato articulation. I have always thought the Marcatos in most libraries sounded off, but it sounds just amazing in CSS.
I always come to this library whenever I'm making a Pokémon-esque track. It's simple and gives me the vibe im looking for. This is also the library I come to all the time whenever I need woodwinds.
With the subscription service Musio, you get access to all libraries from CineSamples with more updates arriving in the upcoming months. When it comes to brass, I always use CineBrass Core and Pro. It pairs well with libraries like Symphobia and CSS.
Rise & Hit has a variety of sounds. As the name suggests, it has Risers and Hits as well as other sound effects and I always come to this one if I need Lifters or Swooshes.
This is the guitar I go to whenever I want nice leads.
This is a guitar I use most of the time. Impact Soundworks is one of my favorite companies out there along with Spectrasonics. Like I stated above with RealEight, Hydra can sound phenomenal with the right amp. Hydra really is the ultimate 8-string guitar for genres like rock and metal.
If there are sounds that I need, then Komplete 14 Collector's Edition comes with a bunch of sounds. The amount of sounds goes beyond my comprehension but in my case, I can never NOT find a sound. You even get iZotope's Ozone 10 with this edition which is a great tool for mixing.
Nothing much to say about this other than it's the keyboard I use!
There are honestly a bunch of plugins I use for the mixer that it's not worth mentioning all of them. Although the ones I use the most are products from FabFilter, Sonible, iZotope, Native Instruments, Waves, Cradle and Devious Machines.
